  • Alley Cat Project

Alley Cat Project is a small, but passionate group of volunteers working to reduce the overpopulation of cats in Seattle using humane solutions.

Our mission is to ensure that every cat has a good home. Will be presenting kittens at Sea-Meow 2023

  • Community Cat Coalition of WA

The CCC was formed when a group of independent rescuers in the Pacific Northwest got together to brainstorm ways to improve the lives of our community cats. Members representing MEOW Cat Rescue, Pasado’s Safe Haven, Cat Tales Rescue and South County Cats worked together to create an all-volunteer organization in the Puget Sound region. The CCC believes that compassionate solutions to cat overpopulation help our communities as well as the cats. Today, the CCC improves the lives of community cats through education, spay neuter and support for the volunteers doing TNR in our neighborhoods and towns.

  • Feral Cat Spay/Neuter Project

Feral Cat Spay/Neuter Project’s mission is to save the lives of homeless cats and kittens by providing access to high-volume spay and neuter surgery in a safe and humane environment. We also provide low-cost spay and neuter surgery to companion cats from low-income households. While cats are at our clinic, we can also provide rabies and FVCRP vaccines, flea treatments, deworming, and microchipping.

  • Feral Care

The Feral Care Sanctuary in Bothell, WA, is a 501(c)3 non-profit providing shelter, food, and care to over 100 unadoptable cats on five serene acres. Supported by donors, volunteers, and staff, the Sanctuary features a secure, free-roaming space with heated cat houses, climbing areas, and outdoor spaces for sunbathing. A protective fence and cathedral roof keep the cats safe and dry, with views of wildlife like birds, rabbits, and horses. The cats enjoy a high-quality diet of canned, raw, and fresh foods, raw goat milk, and spring water. Their health is closely monitored, with veterinary care provided as needed, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment year-round.

  • Furry Friends

Furry Friends, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Vancouver, WA, rescues abandoned and abused cats across Clark, Cowlitz, and Skamania Counties. For 25 years, we've provided care and medical treatment to strays, neonates, and hoarding cases until adoption. In 2024 alone, we've helped over 2,000 cats and kittens.

We collaborate with local groups to reduce euthanasia rates by promoting education, spaying, neutering, and rehoming to achieve no-kill status, defined as a 90%+ save rate. While we avoid unnecessary euthanasia, humane euthanasia may be considered for cats with terminal illnesses or poor quality of life that can't be improved.

  • Hidden Gem Cat Rescue

Hidden Gem Cat Rescue is a foster-based 501(c)(3) non-profit north of Seattle, dedicated to rescuing cats and reducing overpopulation through spay/neuter initiatives. With no physical facility, we rely entirely on foster homes, ensuring cats have space and individual care until adoption. We cover all kitty supplies, but donations help us do even more. Please be patient with scheduling as we balance rescue work with our jobs.

Our goal is to expand into a physical location to serve more cats and engage the community. Adoptions, surrenders, and donation drop-offs are by appointment. We’re committed to finding forever homes for our cats and making a positive impact on animal welfare through education and community support.

  • Meowtropolitan Foundation

At the Meowtropolitan Foundation, we’re on a mission to help cats take over the world—one purr at a time. We believe in the natural magic of cats and are dedicated to showcasing their unique charm. By partnering with shelters, we provide much-needed space for rescues, while inspiring people to discover just how amazing our feline friends are. Through education and community engagement, we aim to share the wonder of cats and advocate for a world where every cat can thrive."

  • Rainier Animal Fund

Dedicated to ensuring advanced veterinary care is accessible to western Washington pets so they might thrive and live healthy, happy lives with the people who love them.

Rainier Animal Fund assists families who are able to demonstrate substantial financial need and cannot afford the full cost of their pet’s veterinary care. This help is provided through regularly scheduled FREE RAF “In-Service” surgical and advanced care veterinary clinics along with medical grants to cover individual care on a case-by-case basis.

  • Seattle Area Feline Rescue

SAFe is a no-kill cat rescue that finds homes for over 1,400 cats, including seniors and special needs, each year. We save feline lives by providing care, securing loving homes, and supporting owners. Besides adoption, we offer on-site spay/neuter surgeries, monthly wellness clinics for low-income individuals, and run a pet pantry. Our extensive foster and volunteer network aids in our mission.

  • Seattle Humane

Seattle Humane is an independent, non-profit animal shelter and community medicine clinic- helping provide care and resources for both ends of the leash. Our mission is to promote the human-animal bond by saving and serving pets in need, regardless of age, ability, circumstances or geography. We firmly believe that owning and caring for a pet is a human right, not a privilege awarded to those who can afford it.

  • Snow Leopard Trust

Snow Leopard Trust work to protect endangered snow leopards by fostering local partnerships. Through our Snow Leopard Enterprises initiative, herder women create and sell handicrafts, including wool cat toys. This sustainable income source curbs poaching, with communities pledging to protect snow leopards in return. Every purchase contributes to this cause.
